Welcome to SCS Delivery Inc. We are an expanding courier service that specializes in medical deliveries across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Currently, we are hiring a local courier in Rapid City South Dakota.

Job Title / Position:  Rapid City South Dakota Medical Courier
Our medical couriers work remotely and are responsible for a provided route. This route can be stops at hospitals, client homes, medical clinics etc. Where you will be responsible for picking up and delivering medical specimens, supplies etc. and properly documenting them. 

Hours offered: 20 Hours Per Week. 

Approximately 2:00pm to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays

​Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
• Maintain a high level of friendly professionalism toward customers, fellow employees and the public.
• Load and unload courier vehicles
• Inspect and monitor courier vehicle
• Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials
• Properly filling out delivery paperwork and required documentation
• Communicate with our dispatch team on the status of deliveries
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws while driving

​ Qualifications:

• Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields is preferred
• Must be reliable, as much of what we transport is of high medical importance for patients and clients
• Clean driving record (driving history and SCS insurance approval is required)
• Must be able to, occasionally, lift up to 50 lbs. Generally, lifting does not exceed 15-20lbs.
• Deadline-oriented
• Must be dependable as our couriers are working remotely the majority of the time
• Must have a smart phone and be comfortable with smart technology (i.e. tablets, email, apps)
