Responsibilities

• Own a scoped project that reaches production and improves the client or provider experience.
• Contribute to the technical approach and production code as part of a product engineering team.
• Participate in planning, stand-ups, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
• Investigate bugs, evaluate tradeoffs, and use data and customer context to improve solutions.
• Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and learnings throughout the internship.
• Present the project, technical approach, and impact at the end of the program.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, with expected graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Have familiarity with data structures, algorithms, software design, and at least one general-purpose programming language through coursework or hands-on experience.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, React, or similar technologies is helpful but not required.
• Be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools critically while considering correctness, privacy, security, and impact.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience through projects, research, hackathons, open-source contributions, student organizations, an internship, a co-op, or similar activities.
• Value quality, attention to detail, kindness, honesty, and respect.

Benefits

• 12-week full-time summer internship running June 1 through August 20, 2027.
• Hybrid role requiring onsite work at the New York City hub three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
